Thankfully for the players, the game show ended in success. They survived the chaser and, through rounds of general knowledge questions, collectively amassed £13,000.
Despite the win, viewers weren’t pleased with Rachel, who they claimed didn’t “try to answer questions” during the tense cash builder round.
Taking to X, one fan fumed: “Rachel doesn’t exactly look like she’s trying to answer any questions. Will deserves to win. She doesn’t #thechase.”

Rachel revealed that she would use the prize fund to purchase “a really dog-friendly camper van ” for the North Coast 500 in Scotland.
During the game show, she amassed £6,000 but opted to accept the low offer of £1000 despite her team’s attempt to convince her to play for £6000.
However, when it came to the Final Chase, Will’s intellect shone as he answered a majority of the questions.
While Rachel only chimed in once, when they were asked: “Guess Who is for how many player?” which she correctly responded: “Two.”
