Many beauty fans use the same perfume for the majority of their lives, however it can be fun experimenting with different scents. Shopping writer Faith Richardson adores trying new ones, and as soon as she got a whiff of Kayali’s brand new fragrance, she knew it would become a staple in her perfume collection.
As reported in , Faith said: “Sweet, indulgent and genuinely so nice you could almost eat it (although, please don’t), it’s one of those perfumes that people immediately notice. I’ve had so many compliments since wearing it, and considering how many of my friends have commented on the smell, I already know it will be a winner when it comes to Christmas presents this year.”
Faith says the best way to describe is a blend of strawberry milkshake and vanilla cake, but it somehow manages to avoid being overly sweet or too youthful smelling. The initial notes are sugary, but it soon dries down to a more refined vanilla-based scent with hints of floral notes and musk which help to ground it.

Faith found the perfume to also be incredibly long-lasting, with only one or two sprays doing the trick. She noticed that she could still smell it on her jacket the next day, and considering you don’t need to use too much to get a good pay off, a bottle should last you a decent amount of time.

Faith isn’t the only beauty lover who adores the scent, as on the Sephora website, the has racked up an impressive 4.6 out of five star-rating. One delighted shopper wrote: “Stunning fragrance, this is my new favourite Kayali scent. It layers beautifully with yum gel pistachio and vanilla 28.”
A second commented: “I am obsessed. On the first initial spray I really get that strong strawberry milkshake but then it fades to the most beautiful sweet, sexy, vanilla marshmallow goodness. 10000/10 and lasts all day on my skin.”
Another added: “This is 100% . Since using this I get so many compliments on how I smell. I love that. It’s not too warm, but it also smells rich and clean once I run out of this small size. I’m definitely going to need a full size bottle.”
However, some individuals were less impressed, with one stating: “I was super excited about this being that I LOVE yum pistachio and because this was super hyped up. I like the smell, however I couldn’t smell it less than 1 hour later. Very disappointed.”
Another shared a similar sentiment: ” but smells more like bubblegum than strawberries. It’s a very light fragrance when it dries down. I barely notice it after an hour or two. I wish it lasted longer and was actually ‘intense’ like it’s listed.”
