Like a lot of dads, Chris Martin gets a kick out of watching his kids squirm.
The Coldplay frontman, who shares son Moses, 18, and daughter Apple, 20, with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, says he has a way to embarrass his son.
“I like (my kids) very much. Even though they’re not biologically mine — I’m breaking the story now,” he joked to Rolling Stone.
“My favorite new thing to embarrass my son is, if we’re walking down the street and someone comes up to us and they say, ‘I’m sorry to disturb you while you’re with your son,’ I say, ‘That’s not my son. That’s my partner.’ ”
He then clarified that they are indeed his kids.
“Yeah. I like them a lot. I think they are mine, to be fair,” he said.
Martin is no stranger to moments that may generate a reaction, either.
In November, he was caught on camera falling into a trap door during a concert in Melbourne, Australia.
“That’s not planned,” he told the crowd after a crew member caught him.
“Thank you guys. Holy s—! That was nearly a YouTube moment,” he added.
Embarrassing episodes aside, Martin remains a present parent for both of his children.
Earlier this month on Instagram, Paltrow posted a video and multiple photos from Apple Martin’s society debut at the Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris, which she, Chris Martin and Moses Martin all attended.
The “Shakespeare in Love” actor included her ex-husband in the carousel of photos.
“A special long weekend in Paris 💙” she captioned the post.
