GB News has made a number of changes
An insider from has shared the “real reasons” that the news channel has had a presenter shake up. In a bombshell announcement yesterday (December 18) it was revealed that hosts and would be “relieved” of their positions.
Former Tory MP, Jacob Rees-Mogg, was also impacted by the changes. The news channel also announced that he would now only be hosting his show two days a week rather than four.
He had been hosting his State of the Nation programme four nights a week – on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. But now he will only do Mondays and Tuesdays.
According to MailOnline, an insider said: “Isabel was too woke and not on message.” Meanwhile, they commented on Dolan’s axe, adding: “Mark’s viewing figures were not good.”

A second source reportedly said that the changes are “definitely down to money”. Pre-tax losses at GB News reached £42.4m in 2023 – up from £30.7m in 2022.
Elsewhere on the channel, Ben Leo will launch Ben Leo Tonight on Saturday and Sunday nights from January. He will also continue to co-host Britain’s Newsroom on a Friday.
Free Speech Nation will be hosted by comedian Josh Howie on Sundays between 7-9pm. Andrew Doyle and Miriam Cates will also be given more permanent roles.

Mark Dolan shared a bombshell statement on Twitter
“Not only are we regularly beating the other established news channels, but we are also making inroads against the big public serving broadcaster terrestrial channels.
“Our initiatives will allow us to build on this success with a renewed focus and ambition.”
In other news, on GB News tonight. The host confirmed that Ben Leo will replace him.
The 32-year-old, from Cheshire, explained that other commitments mean he has to travel to the north of the country and will be unable to film the show. He confirmed that he will be back on screens on Friday.
