Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson remains “solid” following news the former New England Patriots head coach was hired to guide UNC’s college football program.
“Bill will put his all into the new coaching job which he is very excited about,” a source told People.
“But Jordon is also a busy woman with a lot going on. So I don’t see this doing anything but enhancing their solid relationship.”
Belichick, 72, started dating former cheerleader Hudson, 24, in early 2023 following his split from longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday, who he had been with for 16 years.
The couple apparently met in February 2021 while she was a college student. They made their romance public in June.
While their relationship remains strong, the legendary NFL coach is said to not have any marital plans right now.
“I think Bill is not in a rush to marry again at this time in general,” a second source close to the coach said.
“Now that he will be coaching, that is at the top of his list. He needed to get back to work. He has an above ideal situation for his experience and personality.”
While Belichick was being introduced as the new Tar Heels coach in Chapel Hill last week, it was reported by the New York Post that Hudson was in attendance.
Hudson was seated next to the wife of new UNC general manager Michael Lombardi, who has worked with Belichick in the past.
“We are onto Chapel Hill!!!” Hudson wrote in an Instagram Story in reference to Belichick’s infamous phrase, “We’re onto Cincinnati,” following questions from reporters immediately after a Patriots loss in 2014.
