Seth Meyers Imagines Mega ‘Awkward’ 2028 Primary Scenario For Kamala Harris

Seth Meyers reacted to news that Kamala Harris may be considering another bid for the White House.

“According to a new report, Vice President Kamala Harris believes that if she runs for president again in 2028, she would face a competitive Democratic primary process,” Meyers said on “Late Night” Tuesday.

“Not to mention an awkward one,” he added, showing a mocked-up picture of President Joe Biden in front of a “Biden 2028″ podium.

The Washington Post reported this week, citing interviews with people close to Harris, that the vice president “plans to take her time deciding on her next move and remains open to a variety of possibilities” in the wake of her loss to Donald Trump.

She reportedly hasn’t ruled out running for president or the governor of California.

As for Meyers’ crack, Biden could, technically, run for president again in 2028 if he wanted to, though that would be exceedingly unlikely considering he stepped aside this year.
