A is set to sweep England this weekend meaning large parts of the country could catch a glimpse of some festive flakes just days before
Brutal WXCHARTs have turned various shades of purple indicating that heavy snow is on its way in the latest big freeze.
Spanning from the north of the country to the south around 22 counties could get a dumping of snow in just a matter of days.
At 9pm on Saturday, December 21 West Morland, Lancashire and Yorkshire may see up to 1cm of snow fall per hour.
As we go into the early hours of Sunday, December 22 Cheshire, Stafford and Derby could all see a dumping of snow with depths predicted to reach up to 2cm.

At 6am Oxford, Buckinghamshire and large parts of the North West could draw back the curtains and uncover a blanket of snow.
As the day draws to a close Surrey, Sussex, Greater London, Essex, Hertford and areas of the North West are all predicted to see snow fall with up to 1.5cm predicted per hour.
Weather maps suggest large parts of the West and East midlands will see a blanket of snow fall at midnight on Monday, December 23.
Large parts of Wales and Scotland will also see heavy snow fall this weekend.
