Police have found the body of a missing  star after he went missing earlier this week.

On Monday (December 16), officers started their search for missing man Martyn Crofts, who impressed the star-studded judging panel in the show’s sixth series back in 2012.

The star had made it through to the semi-final stage with his cheeky act on the show, which involved him placing a pan on his head, becoming known as The Pan Man, and singing a song while impersonating a Dalek from Doctor Who.

Three days later on Wednesday morning (December 18), officials have issued an update after discovering a body on the Whinny Gill reservior in Skipton, North Yorkshire on December 16.

A spokesperson from North Yorkshire police confirmed that while identification is still underway, the family has been informed and are being supported.
