Derek from Devon spoke to the presenter, 59, on Tuesday’s edition (December 17) of his show after it was reported that at the royal lunch at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.
Derek threw his support behind the Duke of York, 64, believing he has a target painted on his back by the media.
“I think has got a target on his back,” Derek told Jeremy. “Let’s not forget, he is a Falkland’s veteran, served for the country, just like Harry.”
He continued: “Harry has made certain comments during the time he served. Andrew is an angel compared to what Harry’s done to the royal family.”

A stunned Jeremy interjected as he mentioned Andrew’s friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, pointing out that Harry “didn’t hang out with Epstein after he was convicted of offences against children”.
Derek went on to say that Andrew was “guilty by association” as nothing has been proven regarding his involvement in the offences.
Jessica Davies, a guest on the show, slammed Derek’s claim as she hit back: “To say that he is an angel for being an alleged sex offender who paid £12 million to an alleged sex trafficker, who then also willingly hung out with a paedophile and did what that is so much worse?”
Jeremy echoed Jessica’s question, asking: “Derek, why do you think Harry’s worse than Andrew?”
The caller didn’t directly answer the question, but instead asked why parents were allowing their 17-year-old daughter to attend parties at that age.

Jessica stepped in, declaring: “There’s a lot of victim blaming there. Why are old men hanging out with 17-year-old girls and getting them to their parties in the first place?”
Jeremy agreed, explaining that the young girls who attended Epstein’s parties had troubled upbringings and that’s how he “prayed on them”.
The debate sparked outrage from Channel 5 viewers who headed straight to X to call out Derek’s claims.
One wrote: “Where does Vine find these royalist sycophants from?”
A second agreed: “Andrew an Angel compared to Harry? What planet are these deluded creatures from?!”
A third said: “And there it is, the blame Harry card.”
Another added: “Remind me why I don’t watch this show any more.. Oh yeah, folks spouting this c**p.”
