With all nominees announced for the 2024 Sports Personality of The Year, one of the key broadcasters who will be hosting the star-studded event will be Clare Balding.

Former broadcaster Huw Edwards resigned from the in April, despite having not appeared on the broadcaster since last summer. In the annual salary reveal, Huw saw his salary increase by £40,000 last year.
The report states that Edwards was paid at least £475,000 between 2023 and 2024, despite being off-air since July 2023. He remained on the payroll whilst he was suspended, which is normal policy.
