Up to 70 millimetres of rain is expected in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Howe Sound.

Wind, snow, rain to pummel parts of B.C. again as search goes on for missing person

Another storm is rolling off the Pacific, bringing heavy rain and strong winds to the coast and a blanket of snow to the Interior.

Emergency crews recovered a body of one of the two residents of the home on Sunday, the day after strong winds pounded the coast, knocking out power to hundreds of thousands of customers on the South Coast.

Atmospheric river to hit Metro Vancouver on Tuesday

Up to 70mm of rain is expected in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Howe Sound.

“A moisture-laden Pacific frontal system will bring rain to the South Coast. The rain, at times heavy, will begin Tuesday near noon and will ease on Wednesday morning as the frontal system departs,’ the weather agency stated.
