The UK’s cheapest supermarket stations have been unveiled this weekend.
A new analysis from motoring experts at has found Sainsbury’s in Doncaster is the in the country.
Motorists can top up their vehicles for just 127.9p per litre, almost one penny more affordable than Asda’s in Aberdeen which sits at number two.
The store, located on Garth Dee Road, charges motorists just 128.7p per litre to fill up which could be vital for cash-strapped road users.
and stores dominated the top 10 with Asda just edging ahead with six stores compared to Sainsbury’s four.

Petrol and diesel charges have dramatically dropped in 2024 making this one of the most affordable December’s for several years.
Ian Wilson, Managing Director at Tiger.co.uk said shopping at the cheapest pumps could still help those with the “financial pressures” of Christmas weighing heavy on some.
He said: “It is fantastic news for motorists that this is set to be the cheapest Christmas at the pumps since 2020.
“As households across the UK continue to deal with the challenges of soaring bills, any opportunity to save money can make a big difference, especially in the weeks leading up to Christmas when financial pressures can be even higher.

Ian urged road users to top-up their vehicles before heading off for Christmas with individuals likely to pay a “mark-up” if they wait to fill up at a service station.
He commented: “While it may be tempting to fill up at a motorway service area due to the convenience factor, motorists should be aware that they could be paying a significant mark-up compared to using supermarket forecourts.”
