fans are keen to know just how much of a favourites and benefitted from in the Strictly final.
Echoing many other viewers, one fan took to X to call for the figures to be publicly released, as he predicted that the pair had won a mammoth 94 per cent share of the votes. “I know the never release #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing voting percentages ( don’t know why) but I’d have loved to have known how much of a landslide victory this was for Chris & Dianne,” he wrote.
“I reckon they had at least 94% of the vote overall.” However, others who’d been poring over the Strictly spoiler poll, which sees teaser figures released unofficially, argued that the actual total was less than 64 per cent.
“The poll was overwhelmingly Chris and Di, then JB then Sarah & Tasha last,” one viewer wrote in reply. However, it is believed that the poll captures a relatively small sample of the total public vote, meaning it may not be representative.
“Every tweet I saw last night was overwhelmingly [for] Chris and Dianne so agree it was probably one of the most runaway votes in #Strictly history,” another fan chimed in. “Personally I sent 4 votes their way and 2 to Sarah and Vito… I’d have been happy with either.”

“I am pleased they won and they really deserved it but I knew they would get all the votes so I split mine between JB and Sarah,” revealed a third.
A fourth declared: “Never has there been a more deserving winner – had all my votes.”
Despite this, the call for Strictly – and in some people’s eyes, “all shows” – to publish the percentages publicly has continued to win support.
Chris made history as the first blind man to participate in the show before going on to win it, leaving few dry eyes among his emotional supporters.
