Sunday Brunch guest Joe Lycett was causing chaos on this week’s edition of the Channel 4 show.
As the December 15th episode began to wrap up, Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were shocked when he scooped up their Christmas tree and walked off.
Comedian Joe had just revealed he was off to buy a tree of his own after the show and offered the hosts £4 to take the one next to him home.
Tim conceded to let him have the tree for £4.50 and, a few minutes later, Joe grabbed the decoration and walked off the stage.
The presenters and guests were left totally speechless and Simon cried: “He’s broken the show again!”

Joe called back “Merry Christmas!” to his fellow guests and was seen smuggling the tree behind a camera backstage.
The comedian had a little trouble removing the tree as he had to take it apart and unplug the lights.
He later came back without the prop after being informed by the producers that it unfortunately “wasn’t for sale”.
Joe, who has appeared on Sunday Brunch several times despite his antics, certainly kept the hosts on their toes during this week’s show.

He began his interview, promoting his new book Art Hole, reclined on the sofa with his shoes off, prompting the hosts to compare him to Jacob Rees-Mogg.
The comedian then made a sly crack at the Tory for “what he’s done to this country”, prompting a warning from Tim that he was “on the wrong channel”.
Earlier in the programme, Joe couldn’t help but tease the hosts for their new segment, Simon’s Rimcaps, which highlighted the best recipes of 2024.

“Can I just check, it’s called Rimcap?” he asked, prompting giggles from the other guests. “And everyone’s OK with that?”
Simon smiled and replied cheekily: “I’m fine with that, Joe.”
Tim revealed “Number two, pancakes with hazelnut sauce”, to which Simon exclaimed, “Really?” and Joe shouted: “What a Rimcap!”
This week, Simon and Tim also chatted to Matt Goss, Melanie Hill, Chris van Tulleken, Pepsi & Shirlie and Majestic.
Sunday Brunch airs from 9:30am on Channel 4.
