James Haskell has admitted that he was too “exhausted” and “hungry” to think about sex after he left the jungle in 2019.
The former England rugby star appeared during series 19 of the long-running show and recalled being met on the bridge by his then wife but admits that when camp mates leave the jungle, the last thing on their minds is getting intimate.
Speaking to , he confessed: “I was just so exhausted and I had lost 13kgs in 19 days, stank and I had no energy. From a physical standpoint, it never would’ve happened if I had tried to anyway!”
James added: “All I wanted to do was eat, not talk to anybody, have a bath, watch TV and read a book. Chloe was fluttering her eyelashes at me and I just smiled at her, picked up the phone and ordered all the food!
“She also wanted me to tell her all about it but I was just like, ‘I love you but I can’t talk, I’ve just spent the past 19 days talking and I can’t do it anymore!’ So it’s really not the romantic reunion you expect it to be. I was more interested in my three-decker pizza cake and truffle risotto. I had been dreaming about that for weeks.”

In recent news, James broke his silence in an interview with The Times about the breakdown of his marriage.
The pair were previously married but called it quits in September last year just 13 months after their daughter, Bodhi, was born. James and Chloe tied the knot in December 2018 after meeting four years earlier.
“My relationship [with Chloe Madeley] was not working. I never intended to get separated and we tried very hard to ensure that didn’t happen. Chloe is utterly brilliant — she’s intelligent and she’s a fantastic mum. Our differences have to be put to one side,” he admitted.

“Unfortunately now, with my separation, I’ll be photographed with numerous girls and I’m not dating any of them. I can’t do anything about it.”
The shock split came just after Chloe and her family released their brand new fly-on-the-wall reality series. Chloe is the daughter of TV stars and Judy Finnigan.
