undoubtedly has a huge fan base who have voted for her weekly ensuring she and pro partner have made it all the way to tonight’s (December 14) final.
No one has been cheering her on louder than her father Tarek who has been behind her since week one. During her time on the show, he has given his social media followers an insight into her Strictly journey, while urging them to vote for his daughter.
Eagle eyed viewers will have spotted him in the audience week in week out, often crying with emotion as he watches her strut her stuff on the dancefloor.
Unfortunately, he is forced to miss tonight’s live show as he told followers: “Sadly we can’t be at SCD final as we’re heading on a Caribbean cruise booked before we knew.”
He followed it with a crying emoji. “BUT we will be watching and cheering and praying for @tashaghouri to slam it,” he added.

Despite his physical absence tonight Tarek, a DJ who lives in Malaga, is sure to be rooting her on. Throughout the show he has even been selling t-shirts with the hashtag Team Tasha on Etsy.
He is donating €2 from every sale going to DeafKidz International, a charity working to reduce the abuse and neglect of deaf children worldwide.
The doting dad commutes to the show from his base in Spain, and after he attended the first show he got further into the spirit when he bought a glitterball for his home, which has featured in some of his social media videos.
While he admitted: “We may have gone over the top!” the purchase ensures that win or lose tonight, Tasha will have her own glitterball.
Tarek has gone so far as to join some of the social media groups and got to know the fans who he frequently interacts with online.

He has become extremely popular with fans of the show thanks to his frequent insights into Tasha’s journey. He has posted numerous behind the scenes clips of his daughter.
While his main agenda is to support his daughter, Tarek has also embraced his own Strictly experience. His social media is littered with images of him posing with the contestants and pro dancers.
However, on a serious note, he has also has also used his new found fame in the Strictly fandom to raise awareness about the deaf community. Given his unwavering support it is clear no matter what happens tonight, Tasha is a winner in his eyes.
