Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri has been dealt a ‘major blow’ just days before the final as fans spotted a problem with her and pro partner Aljaz Skorjanec too.
The hearing impaired Love Island star has made it to the final with returning pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and will be up against JLS singer , blind comedian and comedy star in the battle to win the coveted glitterball trophy this weekend.

A spokesman for said: “Unwavering frontrunner remains the favourite to win this weekend. With odds of 1/20 and a 95% probability of victory, our trading team tells me he’s the shortest-priced Strictly frontrunner in the market’s history—we’ve never seen a favourite this strong.
“Meanwhile, appears to have made a dramatic U-turn. After being tipped to leave last week, he’s now expected to finish as runner-up and has surged ahead in the betting markets at 1/16. This spells trouble for , who had held onto her runner-up spot until now but has slipped to 25/1. Despite this, she’s still predicted to finish within the Top 3.
“As for , it’s been a major blow. Once the favourite to win, she now risks missing out on a Top 3 finish altogether, with odds drifting to 33/1.”
Tasha and Aljaz sat down with Strictly It Takes Two host Fleur East on Tuesday night, where the pair talked about why they struggled in their most recent dance, which saw the pair drop into the bottom two dance-off, where they had to be saved by the judges.
Aljaz said: “It’s not just two dances being so different, but being so difficult, both of them.
“And that salsa couldn’t have had more steps in it. The lifts… when we were running through rehearsals we were literally on the floor hyperventilating for five minutes after every single run.”
Betfred’s Kayley Cornelius said: “The Glitterball trophy feels within reach for comedian . With odds of 1/20 to win this weekend, he stands as the bookmakers’ strongest favourite in the competition’s history, boasting a massive 95% chance of victory. Yet, while Chris’s win seems almost certain, the battle for second place is far less clear.
Aljaz Skorjanec and Tasha Ghouri struggled this week
“Former JLS star has staged a remarkable comeback. Once tipped for elimination last week, he’s now expected to take the runner-up spot, surging ahead in the betting markets at 1/16. This shift spells trouble for , who had held onto second place but has now tumbled to odds of 25/1. Even so, she’s still projected to secure a place in the Top 3.
“For , it’s been a significant setback. Previously the favourite to win, her chances of even finishing in the Top 3 now look slim, with her odds drifting to 33/1.”
For the final, Tasha and Aljaz will be dancing a couple’s choice that was chosen by the judges – and fans aren’t happy with that.

“And Chris’s too! Judges shouldn’t be picking any Couple’s choice. Should be favourite dance or nothing. Very disappointing. #Strictly #ItTakesTwo”
