EastEnders’ Linda Carter, portrayed by Kellie Bright, has been embroiled in a whirlwind of drama in recent times.
The beloved Queen Vic landlady has been grappling with life on the Square and is wrestling with her guilt over accidentally killing Keanu Taylor last year.
In an attempt to shield her best friend Sharon Watts, who was once a prime suspect for the police, Linda falsely implicated Dean and placed him at the crime scene on Christmas. However, this long-running storyline has now reached its climax with Linda turning to alcohol once again.
Away from the tumultuous world of Albert Square, life is much more serene for actress Kellie Bright. After initially gaining recognition as a teenage actress in the successful sitcom, The Upper Hand, she quickly won over viewers when she joined the cast in 2013.
Kellie further expanded her fan base when she competed in in 2015, where she was paired with Kevin Clifton and made it to the final of the popular show, reports .

Kellie has been happily married to her husband Paul Stocker for a decade. Despite their seven-year age gap, the couple have enjoyed successful acting careers, even sharing the screen on .
The pair first crossed paths when Kellie was 31 and Paul was 24, before tying the knot in 2014. They welcomed their first child together in August 2021 and are now proud parents of three children.
Fans had the chance to see Paul in an episode of the soap in 2021. The dramatic scene saw Linda, portrayed by Kellie, under attack during a robbery at the Queen Vic. Filming constraints due to social distancing rules amid the pandemic meant Kellie had to maintain distance from her fellow actors.

Ingeniously, the show circumvented these restrictions by bringing in Paul, Kellie’s real-life partner, to play one of the assailants, allowing for the necessary close-contact scenes. The couple, parents to Freddy, Gene, and Rudy, conceived through IVF, have had their share of challenges.
Kellie candidly revealed their temporary separation before starting a family, largely due to their age difference. Speaking to OK!
magazine, she shared: “Reality kicked in. I was 31 and wanted to have kids, and Paul was 24 and didn’t at the time. I felt it wasn’t fair on Paul I worried he’d resent me.”
The pair didn’t stay separated for long, with a reunion on the cards shortly after. She confessed: “After a bit of head space, I realised I was cutting my nose to spite my face. I thought what are you doing? Take your foot off the gas.”

Paul has since carved out an impressive acting career. He first grabbed attention in 2007 with his role as a soldier in the film ‘Atonement’, starring alongside Keira Knightley and James McAvoy. His television credits include playing DS Howard South in ” in 2016, where he interrogated Bobby Beale after Jane’s attack.
Additionally, he appeared as a Guard Soldier in the BAFTA-winning ‘Mark of Cain’ that same year. On stage, Paul has showcased his versatility in roles such as Mr Thompson in ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ and in ‘Six Degrees of Separation’.
