Stacey Solomon candidly opened up about her home life during the festive season, painting a picture many families will recognise as she declared one detail “very upsetting”.
On The One Show, hosted by Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, Stacey joined Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies to chat about Christmas telly traditions.
When Roman probed: “Stacey, Christmas Day this year, who controls the remote control in your household?” the 35-year-old couldn’t hide her dismay at the kiddie-dominated viewing selection in her home, quipping: “Oh, I’m sorry to say Russell, but it’s mainly kids’ TV in our house. It’s very upsetting.”
“I mean lovely for a couple of minutes of the day,” she sarcastically added.
While discussing her family’s festive antics with hubby Joe Swash and their brood, Solomon plugged her upcoming Crafty Christmas show on One, set for Wednesday, 18 December, at 9pm, where she’ll whip up some creative yuletide gifts and decorations aimed at spreading joy without denting the wallet.
