UK could be set to snatch a huge number of seats from Labour in one of the party’s key strongholds, in what would be a huge shake-up for British politics.

A poll last week found that ‘s party , only just behind the .

The Find Out Now poll had in third with just 23% of the vote.

Wales has been dominated by Labour for decades. No other party has won a majority there for 114 years.

But ElectionMapsUK took a closer look at the polling, and is now projecting that Reform will take 12 seats in Wales while Labour would be behind on 11.

Their research produced a map that also showed the would win seven sets while Plaid Cymru would only have three.

This would represent a huge shift from even the last election result, when Labour secure 27 of the 32 seats available in Wales and Sir stormed home to a huge majority.

A recent Welsh Senedd poll had Plaid Cymru coming out as the largest party with Reform and Labour narrowly behind by just 1%.

A Reform UK spokesperson said of the poll: “Reform has all the momentum in Welsh politics.

“Whilst the Labour and the chop and change leaders, taking their eye off the Welsh people’s priorities, we are building a team to offer real change in Wales.

“Labour and the have failed Welsh people in both Cardiff Bay and Westminster. The people of Wales want real change in 2026 and that is just what we plan to offer them. Wales needs Reform.”

Reform’s ambitions in Wales are clear as they held the party’s Welsh conference in Newport on November 8.

Last month, Wales’ First Minister Eluned Morgan said she is taking the threat of Reform “very seriously.”

She said: “I’m taking the threat from Reform very seriously and I think what’s most important for us now is to make sure that the people of Wales understand what we do for them, what we deliver for them.

“So things like the fact that they get free prescriptions in Wales, they don’t get that in England, for example, is something that people here take for granted.

“I’m not sure where stands on things like that. But you know, there’s a price to pay, if you don’t know what people stand for and I don’t think anybody really knows what Nigel stands for.”
