James Bond: Pierce Brosnan stars in new Roger Moore documentary film trailer

It’s been seven years since Sir died, but his legacy as a star, most notably as , continues to shine to this day.

In honour of the legend, his estate and family have collaborated on a new documentary film that will be shown in select cinemas this weekend before airing on TV on Christmas Day.

In the trailer, fellow Bond features, admitting Moore was the only man he ever asked for an autograph.

Meanwhile, A View to Kill Bond villain Christopher Walken is also a talking head alongside Moore’s children, Joan Collins, and Live and Let Die Bond girl Jane Seymour.

The documentary film’s official synopsis reads: “From with Love is an exclusive behind the scenes look at the charismatic actor who redefined the role of . The film, commissioned by Arts and Fremantle, takes viewers back to a golden age of cinema, tracing Moore’s unlikely rise as a working class boy from South London to an era-defining global icon.

“His perfection of his image led to the film role of his life – 007. Responding to the spirit of the times, Moore infused the traditionally macho tough guy role of the British spy with wit, style and natural charisma making his Bond debut Live and Let Die a smash hit. Beyond Bond, the documentary reveals his life with his A-list friends including , Joan Collins, Christopher Walken and countless other legends.”

From with Love will debut in select Everyman and Picturehouse Cinemas on December 15 and 18 before broadcasting on Two on Christmas Day at 9pm.
