HBO is stirring the cauldron with its own take on the universe, building upon the spellbinding success of the blockbuster movies that raked in billions globally.
Though no cast has been etched in stone, whispers of potential stars stepping into the adult wizarding shoes are swirling about.
Facing the ongoing speculation, issued a statement: “We appreciate that such a high-profile series will draw a lot of rumour and speculation. As we make our way through pre-production, we will only confirm details as we finalise deals.”
This follows the incredible influx of over 32,000 eager young hopefuls sending in their audition reels to be the next Harry, Hermione, or Ron, reports .

Albus Dumbledore, who is the beloved headmaster of Hogwarts school, was portrayed by the late Richard Harris in the first two Harry Potter films.
After that, the late Michael Gambon took over the role for the remaining six films.
Variety recently reported that Warner Bros has allegedly reached out to Mark Rylance of Wolf Hall fame to play Dumbledore in the reboot.

Harry Potter’s terrifying villain, Lord Voldermort, was originally played by Ralph Fiennes in the film series, with the actor joining the cast for the fourth film onwards.

Professor Minerva McGonagall was originally played by the late Dame Maggie Smith, whom many will also remember for her role in ’s Downton Abbey.
