A bombshell report claimed COVID-19 was “most likely” leaked from a Chinese lab before it went on to kill roughly 7 million people across the globe.
The United States Select Subcommittee on the Pandemic concluded its two-year investigation last week, on its findings.
The report, titled After Action Review of the -19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward, supported the lab leak theory that has been a major conspiracy for years.
The theory states that SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused -19, came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The subcommittee found that the lab had “a history of conducting research “.
Jamie Metzl, who chaired the Senate Foreign Relations Committe under the Biden administration, accused the Chinese government of a “systematic cover-up”. He claimed: “-19 most likely leaked from a Wuhan lab.

“It can’t 100% confirm this assessment because China’s government has engaged in a 5 year systematic cover-up by destroying samples, hiding records, imprisoning journalists, gagging scientists, and blocking any meaningful international investigation.
“As in a mafia trial where the witnesses keep disappearing, China’s malfeasance can only be construed as an acknowledgement of guilt.”
The report added that a virus possessing a biological characteristic not found in nature.

It said: “Four years after the onset of the worst pandemic in 100 years, the weight of the evidence increasingly supports the lab leak hypothesis. By nearly all measures of , if there was evidence of a natural origin it would have already surfaced.”
Subcommittee chairman Brad Wenstrup wrote in a letter to Congress included in the report: highlighted a distrust in leadership. Trust is earned. Accountability, transparency, honesty, and integrity will regain this trust.
“A future pandemic requires a whole of America response managed by those without personal benefit or bias. We can always do better, and for the sake of future generations of Americans, we must. It can be done.”
