On Tuesday (December 10) fans saw the the final three contestants decamped to Cork in Ireland as they battled it out to be crowned champion.
The change in location meant the regular presenters were nowhere to be seen for most of the show, however, Gregg appeared in the final ten minutes of the programme to sample their culinary creations.
Gregg, who is , couldn’t help but make an awkward comment during his brief appearance on the show.
Upon tasting one dish, he chuckled: “You’ve got firm little dumplings in there.” It’s fair to say the questionable comment didn’t t go unnoticed by viewers who took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to comment on the embarrassing gaffe online.
