He warned: “Even if you are in a rush, you must wait until the condensation has completely cleared, to avoid putting yourself or any other road users at risk.
“Driving with limited visibility is extremely careless and dangerous, which is why there are laws and rules in place to prevent drivers taking the risk.”

Drivers who use a car with a misted windscreen risk causing accidents and fines of up to £1,000
Typically formed when the humidity and temperature inside the vehicle differs from the weather outside, condensation can severely block a driver’s view of the road.
As a result, motorists could face a much higher risk of accidents, with fines of up to £1,000 and three penalty points if they drive a vehicle with misted windows.
Nevertheless, there are a number of ways that can help drivers clear all of the windows inside their car at a much faster rate to help them avoid fines and wasting time.

Turning on the air conditioning or opening a window can help to quickly dry the air inside the car
Ian started by suggesting drivers open their vehicle’s windows in order to replace the reduce the humidity helping to cause the condensation in the first place.
He said: “With weather warnings in place for snow, ice and frost, taking precautions before setting off in the car is essential.
“Although it is against all instincts, something as simple as opening your car windows on a cold morning can make all the difference in beating windscreen condensation and helping you get the car ready for the winter elements.”
Similarly, drivers should also turn on the ventilation controls, directing air from outside of the vehicle onto the windscreen.
However, in order for the mist to clear at the fastest possible rate, drivers must start with a low temperature and slowly build up to warm air.
Switching on the air conditioning can also help, as this will keep the air inside the vehicle dry, effectively forming an in-car dehumidifier.
