Just moments after being named King of the Jungle on , McFly frontman Danny Jones was caught in an embarrassing blunder.

The 38 year old musician triumphed over Coleen Rooney and Reverend Richard Coles, and couldn’t hide his joy as he was presented with the show’s iconic wooden sceptre on Sunday.

Regrettably, the celebration was short-lived as, just minutes post-credits, Danny seemed to have snapped the coveted item much to the disbelief of viewers and show host, Joel Dommett, who was quick to point out: “Oh no Danny! What have you done?”

Not missing a beat, a laughing Danny quipped: “Has anyone got any glue?”.

Fans were tickled by the faux pas, flooding with mirthful comments and expressing elation at Danny’s victory after a gruelling three-week stint in the Australian bush, reports .

Following his triumphant exit from the jungle, fans are eagerly anticipating Danny’s next move. ITV is reportedly eager to secure the star for one of its flagship shows, alongside household names such as Joel Dommett and Bradley Walsh.

Danny already holds a judging position on The Voice with bandmate Tom Fletcher, but could soon add more TV appearances to his portfolio. “Danny is the embodiment of everything ITV loves,” an insider revealed to The Sun.

“He’s fun, family-friendly and incredibly popular. His popularity on has made him a prime target for upcoming shows. Not only is Danny a fantastic musician, he also shines on TV.”

The source added that ITV hopes he will return for another series of The Voice and believe there are other shows “he could be perfect on”.

Prior to being crowned this year’s I’m A Celebrity winner, Danny reflected on his jungle experience, admitting: “This is totally insane. I’ve learned so much about myself, and that’s because the camp mates were unbelievable.”

“They made it so easy for us to get through the hard times. I’ve had some of the hardest times I’ve ever had, some of the highest highs, and just tried to have fun along the way.”
