Photos have shown the inside of a military prison in after the regime of was toppled. Rebels overthrew the country’s leader, who is believed to now be in the capital, Moscow, yesterday.

Pictures from Sednaya Prison have shown men holding up nooses and people gathering around documents. Clothes littered the floors, with the horrifying conditions suffered by inmates also evident.

Photos also feature large crowds assembled outside the building. Reports have suggested that women, children, and men were freed after the prison fell.

posted by local media featured rebels freeing people from the prison near the country’s capital, Damascus.

On social media, footage showing has been shared. The child is said to have been locked up with their mother.
