The properties are surrounded by well-established grounds, with a lawned area extending down to the Southwest coast path, which provides direct access over the footpath and onto the beach.

The five-bedroom, three-bath home, which has direct access to the coast path, is on sale with JB Estates for a whopping £5.25 million.

Josephine Ashby of John Bray Estates says: “The large clifftop plot runs straight up to the Southwest Coast Path and then down to the beach, protecting both properties from any future development between them and the sea. The sweeping beach, sea and coastline views are breathtaking and protected in perpetuity.

“In Cornwall, it’s not unusual for a ‘frontline’ property with a spectacular sea view to add 100% to the value of a property. In this case, the size of the plot, and the extent of the protected views, adds a great deal more.”
