has had to cope without wife for the past three weeks while the WAG has been living it up – or rather down – in the I’m a Celeb jungle.
Before flying out to Australia, Coleen left Wayne a strict list of instructions, including school engagements the former star had to attend in her absence.
According to sources close to the -born mum of four, Coleen was worried about Wayne ‘humiliating her’ while she was away on the hit ITV show.
But she’ll be crossing her fingers that hubby Wayne has cut out the shenanigans that led to him being knocked out in the couple’s kitchen one time she was away from home.

Having bagged against in March of the same year, Rooney sprinted towards the corner flag and threw a couple of air punches before imitating Bardsley’s knockout blow by falling to the floor.
Reminiscing on the celebration, Rooney told a Sport podcast with Eddie Hearn in 2019: “I remember when it [the story] was coming out, I remember going in to see [Louis] van Gaal. He was the manager at the time. I said, ‘listen, this story is coming out about me and Phil Bardsley boxing in the house’ and he found it hilarious.
“I think what was perfect was when I scored and the celebration. I didn’t even plan it. When I scored it just came to me.”

Since hanging up his boots – and no doubt gloves after Coleen returned from holiday and got wind of the story – Rooney has turned to football management.
