“Over the weekend, a change to more unsettled conditions appears likely, with a chance of stronger winds and some rain moving southeast.

“This sets the scene for a more changeable second week with an increased likelihood of wet and windy spells, these especially towards the north while southern areas have a better chance of more prolonged drier, settled weather.

“Temperatures will vary around average with both some colder and milder spells likely through this period.”
