ITV I’m A Celebrity’s five most shocking exits as fan-favourites miss out on show win

has crowned some memorable kings and queens of the jungle, but not every celeb who is considered a fan-favorite takes home the title.

As well as the entertaining conversations in camp, the hit show is often as much about emotional connections and public perception as it is about triumphing in the trials.

Over the years, many celebrities who were deemed destined to win by adorning fans ultimately fell short in the finale, due to a lack of emotional narrative to engage viewers, stronger competitors, or unexpected shifts in public voting.

This year, fan favourite Tulisa Contostavlos shocked viewers when she became the third contestant to be voted off the show. Despite being tipped as a finalist, fans were quick to complain that the N Dubz star was robbed.

But as this year’s series comes to a close, we’ve taken a look back at celebs who didn’t quite make the cut.

star Shane Richie initially stood out as a leader in the camp with his quick wit and strong personality. However, his occasional clashes with fellow campmates like AJ Pritchard swayed public opinion rather quickly.
