Coronation Street’s Jacob Roberts has teased the next “evil” scheme of his alter ego, Kit Green.
Jacob Roberts, who graces Weatherfield as Bernie’s (played by Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost son Kit Green, has been stirring up quite a storm since his debut on the ITV soap. First appearing earlier this year, the TV favourite Bernie had given Christopher ‘Kit’ Green up for adoption nearly three decades ago.
In May 2024, after a lengthy search, she finally reunited with him, leaving her twins Gemma (portrayed by Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) astonished by the existence of another sibling.
Kit quickly entrenched himself in neighbourhood drama, notably pressuring stalwart Beth Tinker (Lisa George) to depart from the street and influencing the downfall of Ryan Connor’s (Ryan Prescott) relationship with Daisy (Charlotte Jordan).
A softer side of Kit emerged briefly after his brother Paul succumbed to MND (Motor Neurone Disease), a diagnosis received the previous year, marking a poignant episode in September.

Recently though, Kit has been causing waves again, having had a tryst with Shona Platt (Julia Goulding), amid her domestic woes with David (Jack P. Shepherd).
Following Ryan and Daisy’s breakup, Kit didn’t waste any time pursuing Daisy. They shared a date just days prior, which ended in confrontation.

However, it appears that Kit is not about to turn over a new leaf anytime soon.
Jacob, known for his role as Kit in the drama and a former Hollyoaks actor, spoke to Plymouth Live and other media about his character’s dark trajectory. He revealed Kit’s upcoming scheme as “evil” and “manipulative”.
Delving into Kit’s dynamics with Daisy, Jacob said: “I think he gets turned on by the fact that she likes to play games, as he does as well.”
He also pondered on Kit’s deeper desires, stating: “I think so. I think he’s scared of opening up, to someone who doesn’t deserve it.”
As for Kit’s twisted romance with Daisy, Jacob explained: “He’s opening himself up in a different way.”
He then disclosed Kit’s sinister new tactic: “He’s [Kit] sort of blaming things on Paul if he does get emotional, or does something wrong. So he starts to go down that route which is quite evil I suppose, and manipulative.”
