Investor and reality TV sensation Jamie Laing has been a familiar face on our screens for quite some time. Born in Oxford, he attended Radley College before studying Theatre and Performance at the University of Leeds.
He first graced our screens in 2011 on ‘s Made In Chelsea. In 2012, he co-founded Candy Kittens, a sweet manufacturing company, and said: “I could have never imagined the incredible journey we’ve been on with Candy Kittens, from our incredible team to the delicious vegan sweets… my five-year-old self would have been in heaven! “.

As the great-great-grandson of Sir Alexander Grant 1st Baronet, the inventor of the classic McVitie’s digestive biscuit in 1892, Jamie has debunked the myths surrounding his legacy, stating: “I’m not heir to anything. People always talk about this; I don’t know where this has come from.”
Dismissing the erroneous claims, he continued with a candid revelation about his family’s past business dealings: “We sold the company a long time ago, but I don’t know where that money went. I haven’t seen any of it. It’s pretty upsetting. I’m hoping one day I find it. I don’t even get free biscuits.”
