Jamie Redknapp took aim at Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez, who he compared to a “little boy.” The 5ft 9in centre-back was too easily brushed aside by Nottingham Forest defender Nikola Milenkovic as the Serbian headed home from a corner.
United went into half-time tied at 1-1 with Forest during their clash at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

However, Redknapp was not happy with Martinez’s performance as he provided analysis at the break.
Fellow pundit and former United ace Phil Jones told Sky Sports: “As you can see here now, and as the ball moves on, he takes a couple of steps forward there… and almost gets tucked under the ball. Unfortunately, it’s in the back of the net for .”
Redknapp added: “He’s got to be stronger, Martinez. He’s like a little boy there. He gets bullied, doesn’t he?”
To which Jones replied: “Yeah, he’s got to be stronger there. Again, side on you can see the ball, see the man…”

And Redknapp concluded: “It’s a mismatch. He’s trying to block him, but it’s an absolutely towering header.”
United’s misery continued after the break when Andre Onana spilled Morgan Gibbs-White’s tame effort down the middle into the net. Chris Wood double the visitors’ advantage with a header that Martinez should have cleared off the line.
The Red Devils rallied late on and pulled a goal back through ‘ fine strike.
But they were unable to find an equaliser as Forest claimed all three points.
