The condition of the individual is unknown.

Luton are hoping to turn around a run of three defeats in four matches, which has left boss Rob Edwards under pressure. The Hatters’ form since their relegation from the in May has been poor.

They started Saturday’s match 19th in the Championship after winning only five of their 18 games so far this season. A 4-2 defeat by Norwich City last week prompted Edwards to pin the blame on his under-performing players.

“People have got to fix it quickly, otherwise they won’t play,” he told the . “Too many times it’s happened, but today it was so, so evident.

“The plan was good, there was a good performance there, and we should have come away winning the game, but we’ve made four massive errors individually and it’s cost us a game of football again.

“The majority of fans are with us, and if there are some that are angry, that’s fine – they’re flipping right to be angry. I’m angry as well. We’ve just lost 4-2 and chucked it away.

“I’m ready to fight and dig in, but every one of those players has to do that with me as well.”

Visitors Swansea have also struggled to secure regular positive results this season. Luke Williams’ side are 13th having won six games this season.

Williams expected a tough game against a struggling Luton side. He told Swansea’s website: “They have a capable group, capable of going man to man. We have to find a way to create solutions to go up against that,” he said.

“Luton have choices, as I’ve said, they have a capable group. They can decide to spring off us, play out from the middle, or sit in front of the goal.

“We’ve practiced a lot in the week to come up against those areas and threats, it will be a challenge. They had a long season last year, and coming back down is difficult. At some point, they are going to find their form soon.”
