BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty was forced to ease viewers’ concerns as she reminded fans that her colleage was “working” in the midst of storm Darragh.
The 49-year-old was back on the famous red sofa alongside her co-host on Saturday morning (December 7). Covering the latest news headlines across the the globe, which included ‘s 230-mile MND run, the presenter’s top story appeared to be the harsh weather conditions that is currently battering the UK.
With warnings to stay indoors until the storm passes, viewers were given updates on the areas of the UK where the weather seems to be at its worst.
But some fans were concerned that despite the caution given, Breakfast still had reporters outside in Bangor and Bristol to share their experiences.
Presenter Jon Kay also appeared in London to share his experience of the bad weather. But quickly after his report, Naga stepped in to remind viewers after they were left concerned following the report.

Naga said: “Jon is actually working this morning. I know the weather warning is to stay indoors but that’s why he’s out and about.”
