Callum Woodhouse said Tristan Farnon would not be leaving soon
Channel 5’s heartwarming series All Creatures Great and Small is set to bring festive cheer with a Christmas special, and fans are ecstatic about Callum Woodhouse reprising his role as Tristan Farnon for the show’s latest season. In an exclusive chat with the Express and other media outlets, Woodhouse discussed Tristan’s potential involvement in the war.

His absence was particularly felt by Siegfried, who struggled to maintain harmony at home.
, and he’s also confirmed to light up screens in the upcoming Christmas episode. When quizzed on how it feels to be so warmly welcomed back by the audience, Woodhouse couldn’t hide his appreciation.
He shared: “It’s really sweet and affirming as well as an actor to see you have made such an impression on your viewers. It’s a really nice thing being stopped in the street and told how much you were missed and how glad they are that you’re back.
“It makes you feel good, absolutely, it’s really lovely.”
Callum Woodhouse returns as Tristan Farnon
Alongside his fellow cast members, Woodhouse noted that the series diverges somewhat from Alf Wight’s beloved original novels.
Regarding the future of his character, Woodhouse clarified: “What happened was that Tristan went into the more agricultural side rather than staying at Skeldale.
“We have sort of done away with that, so I can’t imagine he’d be on his way out again, but we will see what they want to do with Tristan. He did lead a life away from Skeldale at times.”
Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as it seems Tristan is set to stay put for the foreseeable future.

Discussing his return to the series after a break, the star shared his initial concerns: “I said on day one there was this whole thing of it’s going to be really weird coming back and am I going to be able to be Tristan again?”
