UK weather maps show 430-mile wall of snow and rain ‘ruining’ weekend for Brits

Brits should brace for and rain which is headed to the UK this weekend as are set to continue.

has issued several yellow warnings for this weekend, with to parts of the country.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, , Wales and the north of England while most of the south and Midlands won’t see showers.

According to WXCHARTS, on Saturday, 0.6mm of rain will fall per hour around London, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle.

Wales will see higher levels of rain with between 1-5mm of rain fall per hour – the highest levels of rain this weekend.

On Sunday, maps show thaat at around 9am, around 7mm per hour of rainfall per hour will hit the east coast with Manchester, Birmingham, London and much of central England experiencing this level of rain.

Weather maps show Scotland will see the most with some parts to see 10cm of snow on Sunday.

Parts of Wales will also see light snowfall on Sunday during the night but by 9am, snow looks to be gone as rain begins.

From Saturday night into Sunday morning, most parts of England will be hit by rain with all central parts to be covered with showers.

By 9am on Sunday morning, rain will continue with the east coast experiencing the highest levels of .

Rain will reach from Edinburgh to Southampton stretching a huge 430 miles across the country.

The weather forecast says conditions will be “wet and very windy” on Saturday.

It also said severe gales are possible in places, especially in the West.
