that will take you somewhere quicker than a plane are the future, and that future is here. This extraordinary and extremely fast train is currently being constructed in China.

With the use of magnetic levitation, also known as maglev, China Railway trains will zoom passengers through vacuum tubes at an incredible speed of 621mph.

uses magnets to levitate vehicles above the tracks, and the magnets on the train will react with the sides of the pipe to push the train forward.

already has efficient that travel up to 217mph across the country. However, none are like this new one that is currently being built.

The ultra-speed maglev train will travel nearly three times faster than the speed of their current fast trains and even faster than planes.

Most commercial trains travel at a speed of between 547 and 575 mph, meaning this innovation is set to break some records.

China currently has three maglev trains that are already in operation, including the world’s first commercial and fastest, the Shangai maglev train (SMT), which has a maximum cruising speed of 431mph.

It connects an 18.6-mile journey from the Shangai Pudong International Airport to Longyang Road station in just over eight minutes.

According to China Railway, they strive to quicken the development of trains that are faster, smarter, more environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient.

The cooperation recently achieved a new record by handling over four billion passenger trips in the first 11 months of this year, which was over 150 million more than trips carried out throughout the whole of 2023.

With the addition of this new maglev train to the already existing ones, the country’s rail network is only expected to become even more revolutionary.
