For those who “love cookies” but are “trying to lose fat and build muscle”, these loaded Biscoff cookies are perfect, according to their creator.

user @aussiefitness shared his for the filling cookies which are high in protein and low in calories, making them ideal for those on a journey who still want to satisfy their sweet tooth.

High Protein Loaded Biscoff Cookies ?????????????????? Low Calorie With 24g Protein???????????? (Macros: Per Cookie – 4 Total) 254 Calories 27gC | 8gF | 24gP Ingredients: 24g Coconut Flour 30g Self Raising Flour (or plain flour + 1 tsp baking powder) 50g Natural Sweetener (Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener) 1 Scoop Protein Powder (your choice of flavour – Rule1 Vanilla Creme) 2 Biscoff Biscuits (snack sized – crushed) 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract 170g Flavoured or Plain Low Fat Greek Yoghurt (Danone YoPro Salted Caramel Yoghurt) 1 Egg Frosting: 170g Flavoured or Plain Low Fat Greek Yoghurt (Danone YoPro Salted Caramel Yoghurt) 1/2 Scoop Protein Powder 30g Sugar Free Icing Powder (Lakanto Monkfruit Icing Powder) 40g Melted Biscoff Spread (use half for the frosting & the other half for the topping) Mix & set frosting in fridge to thicken. His Biscoff cookies come in at just 254 calories each, compared to a typical cookie which could be as high as 671 calories.

To make the high-protein version, simply combine 24g of coconut flour, 30g of self-raising flour, 50g of natural sweetener, one scoop of protein powder, and two crushed Biscoff biscuits in a bowl.

The content creator added: “In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients then mix it together. Now add low fat yoghurt, one egg, vanilla extract, then mix it until you have a thick consistency.

“Add some cooking oil spray on baking paper then wet your hands and form four equal cookies.” He then recommends baking them in the oven at 180C for 12 to 15 minutes. During this time, you can prepare the frosting.

This involves mixing 170g of plain or flavoured yoghurt with 20g of melted Biscoff, before adding 30g of sugar-free icing powder and a half scoop of protein powder.

After chilling this mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes, it can be spread over the freshly baked cookies and topped with crushed Biscoff and an additional 20g of melted Biscoff.
