Ahead of the Christmas special airing this year, which sees Billy Monger, Tamzin Outhwaite, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Vogue Williams, Tayce and Josh Widdecombe take to the dancefloor, in the hopes of winning the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
But thanks to “an audience mole”, the winning couple’s names are already circulating online after the show was filmed this week.
Strictly fans have since taken to social media and expressed their dismay, while others delighted over the results.
One wrote: “I’m so happy,” while another commented: “Congrats to them!!!!”
A third commented: “I was going to try and avoid the Christmas special result.”
Strictly Come Dancing’s Christmas special is just weeks away
Another shared:”I really don’t want to know,” while a fifth added: “Can’t believe it.”
Meanwhile, Strictly judge Anton Du Beke had some choice words for the Strictly mole, who has been leaking the show results over several years.
Speaking on Loose Women in 2022, he was left begging the Strictly “mole” to stop spoiling the show results before they’re broadcast, saying: “It gets on my nerves.”
“Please stop. I don’t know who you are but please stop. Don’t do it. Why would you do it? Nobody knows who it is.
Anton Du Beke has previously shared his disappointment over the Strictly results leak
“The audience, like the people who go to [Agatha Christie murder mystery play] The Mousetrap for example, which has been going for years, we’re all in it together.
“Knowledge is power and all that sort of stuff, everyone has an agreement we won’t say anything, so I don’t know who does it.”
He went on to add that “they call you a spoiler for a reason—because you’re a spoiler. Don’t do it… Try to stop spoiling it please, because people don’t want to know.”
Christmas special will air on One and iPlayer on Christmas Day.
