viewers believe they have uncovered Angelica King’s ‘true’ intentions for her cousin Tom.
Tom (James Chase), the show’s villain, is currently behind bars after being arrested last week. As fans may recall, he has spent the past year tormenting his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), subjecting her to emotional abuse, gaslighting, and controlling behaviour.
In a dramatic turn of events, Belle defended herself by attacking Tom with an axe and eventually found the courage to report his abuse to the authorities.
Believing he could evade justice, Tom hastily disposed of his tablet containing incriminating evidence. However, this week, Tom’s luck finally ran out, much to the delight of soap fans.
Despite his initial arrest and charges, Tom attempted to flee the country but was eventually tracked down by the police. He is now in prison, but a shocking twist emerged this week when it was revealed that Tom’s cousin, Angelica (Rebecca Bakes), had been in secret contact with him, seemingly convinced of his guilt, reports .

Angelica is in contact with Tom
During Wednesday’s episode (December 4), Tom covertly instructed Angelica to persuade her father Jimmy (Nick Miles) that Tom is innocent and deserving of support. In a potential plot twist, fans are now convinced that Angelica is actually “setting up” the villainous Tom King.
An astounded fan commented on an Facebook fan page: “I can’t believe Angelica answering Tom’s phone call and chatting away with him like they’re best buddies. Just daft in my eyes Angelica why.”
Yet, some viewers quickly offered their take that perhaps the young character is crafting a strategy.

Fans think she is playing Tom King
Intrigued by plot twists, a fan speculated in the comments: “Think she turns him in, she’s playing him to her and belles advantage.” Another hinted: “Just hope she’s playing him to get more information. She could record something he says and use that for evidence.”
Delving deeper into the character’s mind, another viewer observed: “l think, given the look on her face a few times, she is playing Tom. l am convinced she is up to something and of course, Tom is attempting to use someone else!”
Summing up the consensus, a comment read: “She’s setting him up. She wasn’t around when Tom threatened her brother Carl, so she is out for revenge. This storyline is annoying at times, but Tom will have egg on his face.”
