A motoring expert has offered drivers a number of tips that can help to improve the look of their vehicle and help to increase its value on the .
Whilst is currently strong, typical prices are fairly low, meaning it is important for motorists to take every measure possible to get the most for their vehicle.
To help drivers, recommended that motorists regularly , starting by considering a foam wash which can reduce grime.
They explained: “Use a snow foam wash, which is essentially a shampoo for your car, and ideally a pressure washer or hose to from your vehicle’s exterior. If you don’t have access to either of those cleaning tools, opt for pouring buckets of hot water over your car, after applying the foam wash.
“During this , make sure to pay attention to the wheels and tyres of your car by giving them a spray down.”

Once the bodywork is pre-washed, The Taxi Centre advised motorists to thoroughly scrub the vehicle to help loosen any remaining dirt and grime.
The company suggested that this should be done with a bucket of warm water mixed with a specialist car cleaner, resulting in a soapy mix that should be applied liberally and in circular motions before being washed off.
Afterwards, motorists could also polish the bodywork, helping to give the vehicle a very attractive shine whilst removing subtle scratches and paint defects.

Once the vehicle’s exterior is sparkling, The Taxi Centre encouraged drivers to turn to the interior, beginning by dry brushing the upholstery.
They added: “Once you’ve prepped your car’s exterior, it’s time to do the same to its interior. Before vacuuming, you want to treat the car’s car upholstery with a dry brush, using it to remove dirt and mud on the seats.
“If you’re struggling to clean dirt or crumbs from certain spots, try using a toothbrush to reach any tricky nooks and crannies.”
Finally, the company urged all drivers to keep on top of vehicle cleaning whenever they can, which can help to reduce damage and cut down on the time and effort needed.
They continued: “As important as it is to give your car a deep clean every few months, prevention is also key to keeping your car looking its best. For example, it can be difficult to clean away the dirt that gets in the bottom of cup holders.
“But, if you line your cup holders with silicone cupcake cases you can avoid the crumbs and general residue that ends up at the bottom, and they are much easier to remove and clean.”
