caught the attention of fashion lovers after he donned a rugged beard and a new style. The 42-year-old Prince of Wales is keeping the beard but has ditched his rule of forever formal.

William is known for his regal looks and always adhering to protocol, but lately has decided to go for more smart casual looks and even repping trainers.

Back in August, he stepped out alongside the debuting the new facial hair.

During his visit to South Africa wore a dove-grey, double-breasted blazer which was from a local vintage store in London.

Taking to X formerly known as Twitter, one user wrote: “I loved the denim shirt with navy double breasted jacket worn on his final day in Cape Town. He looks so smart!” While another shared: “That blazer was a great find. I love it on him!”

A third chimed in and agreed and penned: “Love it, he looks relaxed and casual, this new look of his really suits him. More relatable too I think.”

Reports suggest this is the first time he has opted for pre-loved clothing, although he does not shy away from wearing the same outfits twice.

The contemporary fit boasted a slim-fit blazer and crisp white trainers to strike a balance between comfort and style while also keeping up his smart demenour.

Body language expert Judi James believes that William’s new and improved style which has massively evolved over the years reflects his increasing confidence.

She picked up that not only has his fashion adapted and changed but also his facial hair, which she feels signifes a shift in attitude.

She told the Daily Mail: “William’s recent change of style and his much less cautious-looking and less formal body language seems to indicate both a growing confidence in terms of his stepping up to the throne and maybe an update in his priorities since Kate’s and his father’s illnesses.”

Judi added that being a father to three young children, George, Charlotte and Louis, might have further influenced his makeover.

“William has three children that are getting to the age where they will often make comments or jokes about any out-of-date dad clothing and start to quietly revolutionise his look, especially as he seems to have been spending more time with them recently,” Judi noted.
