They’re arguably one of the most famous conservationist families in the whole of Australia.
The Irwin family rose to fame back in the late wildlife expert starred in the 1990s television series The Crocodile hunter.
His documentary series, which he co-hosted with his wife Terri, grabbed the hearts of the nation as well as those from further asea, which catapulted his career to new heights.
However, tragedy struck the family when the dad-of-two sadly died at the age of 44 after he was stung by a sting ray.
Since then, his doting children Robert and Bindi have been carrying on his legacy by founding Australia Zoo and continuing to work with endangered animals across the country.

However, one thing fans may be surprised to know is that his son Robert also has a secret second name. As the Robert celebrates his 21st birthday with his nearest and dearest, let’s take a look inside his secret family name.
In an adorable resurfaced family video following the young conservationist birth, captured by his late dad, his big sister Bindi, 26, revealed what the TV personality’s nickname is.
The clip, which was recently shared by The Female Quotient account, showed the moment five-year-old Bindi met her newborn brother for the first time back in 2003.
In the footage, Steve introduced Bindi to the family’s latest addition, only for her to give her brother a completely different name to that picked out by Steve and Terri.
She announced in the video: “I think by the way he is, I’ll call him Brian” as Steve corrected her: “His name is Robert.” Undeterred, Bindi went on: “But I’ll call him Brian for short,” before Steve finally relented, replying: “Okay.”
Bindi then cheekily turned to her dad and asked: “How do you know it’s a boy? Did you check?” Steve chuckled: “They’re not born with clothes on, Bindi.”
Fans are now demanding that Bindi comment on whether the family still uses Robert’s alternative name behind closed doors. One user asked on the post: “Can someone ask Robert Irwin if his sister still calls him Brian?”
Another agreed: “Bindi bringing the chaos of well I’M going to call him Brian” as a third echoed: “Her job was to name the animals at the zoo so she assumed she’d get to name her brother, it’s SO ADORABLE.”
