is a well-recognised face across the nation and has become a household name since making his TV debut in 1989 on CBBC’s The Broom Cupboard.
However, more recently, the presenter has made regular appearances on ’s morning programmes, including , , and .
Viewers are more familiar with Andi’s enthusiasm and joyful humour in his short segments on-screen during the daily competitions.
Despite being a much-loved TV presenter, the fact he replaced and hosted This Morning alongside seemed to bother some.
The 54-year-old only covered for his co-star on Monday and Tuesday but the replacement had been branded “a for disaster.”

Criticism mounted for the TV star when he and Cat interviewed Prime Minister with many questioning his capability to do so.
@DJstewartwho complained: “I have nada against Cat Deeley & I can’t be bothered to list my issues with Andi Peters, but neither should be dipping into politics, let alone interviewing the PM.”
A second viewer @Tingle5555 added: “Andi Peters and the Prime Minister? What a bloody insult to the British public’s intelligence!”
However, what many fail to recognise is that although Andi mainly announces giveaways and cash prize winners, he has 37 years’ worth of experience within the industry.

Andi’s job as the Executive Producer for Popular Music at the also meant he oversaw media training for the Spice Girls, JLS and Westlife.
Having been a fixture on TV for over three decades, his short role as a main presenter on This Morning showed his duality and proved could face serious and light-hearted topics.
