The Bristol potter thumped Anda Zhang 6-2 in the quarters on Friday and is looking to get his hands on the trophy for only the second time in his career.

Wilson, who in May, overcame Michael Holt 6-3 in his last-eight encounter to equal his best performance at the tournament.

Barry Hawkins and Mark Allen will face each other in the second semi-final, which begins at 7pm.

Hawkins stunned Shaun Murphy 6-2 on Friday, with Allen getting the better of Jack Lisowski 6-3 in his quarter-final match.
