Prince George has one key duty to do at home
Prince George may be second-in-line to the throne, but at home he is just like most other 11-year-olds across the UK.
As well as going to school, and , the young prince – and future King – also has certain chores he has to do around the house.
According to a royal expert, this is because and Princess Kate try to keep life as normal as possible for their three children George, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, which was also part of their reason for on the Windsor Castle estate.
Since living in their cottage, the family have had no live-in staff, with the Prince and Princess of Wales, 42, encouraging their children to help muck in with the chores, including cleaning and cooking.
As well as doing some of these together, it has also been reported that the royal children each have their own job to do, something Princess Kate was used to doing herself when growing up.

As reported in the , royal expert Hilary Fordwich said: “She (Kate) was always used to chores. Her parents were busy building their Party Pieces business that her mother Carole Middleton founded.
“Young Kate was instrumental in developing party supplies specifically for babies and young children, so she knows the power of active, engaged children who learn responsibilities. Prince George is ‘s cage.”
While the idea of doing chores may not be every child’s dream, it has been reported that the in return for their help around the house.
This was with royal expert Katie Nicholl having once said that the young family are “more ordinary” than people may think.

The family currently live in a four-bed cottage on the Windsor Castle estate
Nicholl revealed: “They absolutely do menial tasks. They are far more ordinary than many might imagine – the kids even have to do chores in return for their pocket money.
“It’s about them wanting to have a normal, happy, ordinary family home and lifestyle which, at Adelaide Cottage, they are really achieving.”
While the chores may take up a small part of their day, the children also have plenty of time after school to enjoy being kids. This includes , riding their bikes, helping their mum to bake and watching TV.
The children are also believed to be passionate about sport, with Kate having been spotted a few times to their Windsor home.
