This year’s series of reportedly has the highest ever paid celeb signed up. The has been on air since 2002 with many well-named stars heading into the jungle.

With the likes of , Amir Khan, Caitlyn Jenner and breaking jungle records for their fee in the past, it’s now been reported that one celeb this year has topped them all. Coleen Rooney is said to have now become the highest ever paid celebrity to enter the jungle.

Each year that the show continues, it is thought that the amount of money paid to the participating contestants has exponentially increased. In just the last four years, the highest amount paid is thought to have more than doubled.

Noel Edmonds, the one-time highest-paid star, was said to have received £600,000 for what ended up being just one week in the jungle in 2019. Now, reports have said that is expected to bag more than £1.5million for her appearance.

For the rest of this year’s line up, those with more recognisable names like N Dubz star Tulisa, boxer Barry McGuigan and McFly legend Danny Jones, are rumoured to be paid anywhere between £150,000 to £200,000 for their time on the ITV show.

Soap stars, such as this year’s Alan Halsall, who is much-loved for his role as ‘s Tyron Dobbs, are typically paid around £75,000.

The camp mates who tend to be lesser known have the expectation of being able to have their profiles risen and bag around £50,000 for their participation.

This year, the celebs who fall into that category include internet sensation GK Barry and Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough.

Over the years some big names have reportedly came with big costs. Before the 2024 series kicked off, the highest paid celeb was said to be politician , who appeared on the show in 2023 and reportedly signed a contract worth £1.5m.

Boxer Amir Khan has previously boasted about his £700k pay cheque and the likes of Vernon Kay, Mo Farrah and Richard Madeley have all earned around the £300,000 mark for their time in the show.

However, it’s important to note that no exact money numbers have been confirmed by the stars or the ITV show despite some strong reports.
