A 16-year-old girl has been charged with the murder of a homeless man who was assaulted near to London’s King’s Cross train station.
The teenager, from Brixton, south London, will appear before Croydon magistrates’ court on Friday charged with the murder of Anthony Marks, 51, in August this year.
Mr Marks died after being violently assaulted on Cromer Street on Saturday, 10 August.
A 17-year-old boy has previously been charged and, after appearing in court, was remanded in custody to face trial next year.

Investigators from the Met Police say they remain keen to hear from any witness who may not have come forward yet to reveal what they saw.
And they are also appealing for Mr Marks’s next of kin, who they have still been unable to contact.
The victim had been living homeless on the streets of the capital and had been sheltering in a bin shed close to the location where he was fatally attacked.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, previously said: “Despite someone having been charged, our investigation is ongoing with a number of active lines of enquiry.

“Sadly, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to identify next-of-kin for Anthony and I urge anyone who can help to contact the investigation team.
“I am also very keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident but has not yet spoken with police. There were a number of people in the area at the time of the murder and we know that some of those people tried to help Anthony. If you are one of those people please do get in touch with us.”
Recent figures showed there were 11,993 rough sleepers spotted on London’s streets between April 2023 and March 2024, marking a 19% increase on the previous year’s total and 58% higher than a decade ago.
